What the arborists do

Six of the services asked for most. Each starts with an arborist looking at the trees on your property.

  1. 01

    Pruning

Pruning, or tree trimming, is a practice that is periodically required on all woody landscape plants on your property. Bartlett arborists can help you with mature pruning, young pruning, or specialty pruning.

  2. 02

    Fertilization and soil care

Before any fertilization is prescribed or performed on your property, soil samples are taken from the property and soil nutrient status is analyzed.

  3. 03

    Insect and disease management

An integrated approach to managing insects and diseases on your property. It begins with maintaining plant health using sound cultural practices, including pruning and creating optimal soil conditions for plant growth.

  4. 04

    Plant analysis and diagnostics

Bartlett arborists excel at determining the cause of a plant health problem or condition, or at identifying and treating a pest infestation.

  5. 05

    Cabling and bracing

A support cable anchored between two tree stems

Cables and brace rods are supplemental structural supports intended to reduce the risk of failure of weak branches and multiple stems on the trees around your home.

  6. 06

    Storm damage

Most damage to your property during severe weather events occurs due to falling trees and limbs. Based on the outcome of an inspection, Bartlett may recommend pruning, supportive cables or braces, and even lightning protection systems.

From first call to proposal

Three steps, and nothing is prescribed before an arborist has seen the trees.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your trees

Reach out with what you have noticed. Our team is ready to listen to your needs and concerns, and to arrange a visit to your property.

  2. 02

    Meet with your arborist

An ISA Certified Arborist will evaluate your trees and shrubs, answer your questions, and discuss tailored solutions for your landscape.

  3. 03

    Review and approve your proposal

We’ll send you a detailed proposal outlining the recommended services and costs. Review it at your pace, and let us know when you’re ready to proceed.
